He is the International representative for The Archipenko Foundation and Estate; promoting the work and legacy of sculptor Alexander Archipenko. Matthew previously worked at both Christie’s and Pace Gallery, where he held senior positions, including Christie’s Managing Director, Russia & CIS; and Christie’s Client Strategy Director, Europe, Middle East, Russia and India (EMERI) and International Senior Director at Pace Gallery. As Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Photographers’ Gallery, the only public gallery in London dedicated entirely to photography, Matthew also works closely with photographers, curators, museums and philanthropists to champion photography in all its mediums for everyone.
