We are venturing into an exciting new phase of Cromwell Place’s development and have temporarily paused new Membership applications so we have time to plan our next steps. Our aim is to better understand how we harness our incredible spaces, as well as the dynamic networks we have cultivated over the last few years, to deepen and enrich our role in the art world.

During this period, Membership applications are temporarily on hold, but we remain committed to collaboration with like-minded galleries and other businesses through our temporary Guest Exhibitor and Guest Business User tiers. The benefits of these guest tiers correspond with our existing Exhibiting and Business Member tiers. Find out more below.

Exhibition spaces

Discover our diverse range of exhibition spaces available for hire on a week-by-week basis. Ranging from 25m2 to 142m2, each of our fifteen galleries offers a unique blend of distinctive period features and innovative modern architecture.

When you choose to exhibit with us, you'll receive comprehensive support. Our dedicated art technicians will provide assistance with installation, ensuring your artwork is showcased flawlessly. Custom lighting enhances the presentation, while our marketing and communications team will support you in promoting your exhibition to a wider audience. Art Storage

Our central London, state of the art facility provides storage solutions for members, from a single artwork to an exhibition or an entire collection, for any time period. The purpose-built, climate-controlled space is also an HMRC approved customs warehouse.  

Art storage is managed by our highly experienced, on-site Exhibition Services team, who are on hand to advise and assist on the safe and secure storage of your artworks. 

The safety and security of your artworks is paramount to us. The facility has a double door airlock entry; 24hr manned CCTV and onsite security personnel; fire detection and alarm systems; and building management team.

Viewing Rooms

We have four viewing rooms, purposely designed whilst retaining original architectural features. The spaces have an elegant, clean minimalist décor and benefit from both natural and specialist lighting. The rooms can be booked by members on a half-day, daily or weekly basis and are ideal for discreet private viewings, photography, conservation and cataloguing of artworks. 

Included in each viewing room booking, we offer one hour of installation technician time with a member of our highly experienced Exhibition Services team.

Art Handling

Our highly experienced onsite Exhibition Services team provides a comprehensive range of services, ensuring a seamless journey from start to finish. From managing deliveries and collections, to art storage, installation, rehanging, lighting adjustments, and complex exhibition fabrication/installation, we handle it all.

With our intimate knowledge of the building and galleries, we understand their unique quirks and idiosyncrasies. This allows us to seamlessly integrate the striking architecture and features of the spaces, creating a harmonious blend with your exhibition.

Custom Warehouse

Cromwell Place is approved by HMRC to act as a Customs Warehouse. This authorization extends to our art storage facility and viewing rooms, enabling us to import artworks on behalf of our members from outside the UK. With this authorization, members have the flexibility to defer payment of UK import taxes for an indefinite period. This is especially beneficial for those who require longer storage periods before exhibitions or sales.

In addition to our Full Temporary Admission service, we collaborate with our shipping partner, IBI International, to provide Members with a comprehensive range of customs special procedures.

Meeting rooms

We provide two meeting rooms available for temporary hire as part of our workspace solutions.

The Boardroom is our larger meeting room (12 guests), while The Hub offers a more intimate setting (6 guests). Both rooms are equipped with LED displays with video conferencing capabilities and flipcharts.

For bookings of over two hours, we offer a welcome service with tea and coffee. Additionally, refreshments such as juices, pastries, and cookies can be included upon request. If desired, full catering options are available for pre-order from The Hazel Bar & Kitchen.

Co-Working

Experience the convenience of our flexible coworking spaces for temporary hire. Choose between dedicated desks and hot desks tailored to your work style.

Our coworking bookings come with essential amenities, including secure internet access, stationery, and access to a well-equipped tea point. Our dedicated desks offer a quieter work environment, while hot desks provide the flexibility you need without long-term commitments.

Events services

Our expert event services team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for members hosting events at Cromwell Place. With a background in luxury hotels and a portfolio spanning brand launches to royal events, they offer guidance from concept to execution. Whether it's private views, opening receptions, client events, or special dinners, our team assists with creative ideas, budgeting, room layout, guest flow, and catering.

Cromwell Place Café

Launched in Autumn 2023 by London food-world veteran, Martin Cohen, in collaboration with newly appointed Cromwell Place CEO & Artistic Director, Helen Nisbet, the reimagined Cromwell Place Café sits at the heart of Cromwell Place.

Designed by Nick Vinson, founder of Vinson&Co, with a zinc bar by Daytrip Studio, the Café gives new life to the beautiful rooms.

Permanent Offices

Discover our diverse range of workspace solutions designed to meet your professional needs. We provide long-term private offices available for lease, ensuring a dedicated and secure work environment. As a Member, you'll have access to our exceptional concierge service delivered by our Front of House team, as well as exceptional food and drink from the Hazel Bar & Kitchen delivered directly to your office.
