Canopy Collections are delighted to present their second exhibition at Cromwell Place. Entitled Paper & Clay, this new group show brings together thirteen international artists and explores the versatile nature and creative use of these two materials.

Encompassing a selection of over thirty artworks, Paper & Clay reveals the rich variety of techniques that are often explored through works on paper and ceramic practices. From monotype prints, watercolours and preparatory sketches to ceramic art objects and porcelain sculptures, the works on display capture each of the artists’ unique aesthetics while documenting their distinctive approaches when working in their respective medium.

Canopy Collections

Woking closely with both emerging and established artists, Canopy Collections has developed a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events that celebrates the importance of living with art while promoting a dialogue between different generations of artists. They represent a growing roster of emerging artists including Richard J. Butler, Daniel MacCarthy, Ellie MacGarry, Paulina Michnowska and Salomé Wu. They have also exhibited the work of more established artists such as David Batchelor, Charlotte Beaudry, Bruno Ollé, Laure Prouvost and Dan Rees.

In parallel to its exhibition programme, Canopy Collections has become one of the most curated online platforms where they champion transparency and accessibility for a new audience of art collectors. Since 2020, they have collaborated with international institutions, galleries, brands and private collectors to curate remarkable exhibitions in various settings, including Modernity Stockholm, Bowman Sculpture, The Van Gogh House, The Invisible Collection and The Club—Parcours Saint-Germain amongst others.
