Circle Art Gallery is the foremost gallery space in Kenya, it was established in 2012 in Nairobi to build local and international audiences for the very best East African artists. 6 years on, we have curated over 60 exhibitions participated in over 20 international art fairs and the next logical step was to expand and find a new location to increase our exhibition programme.
Artists in East Africa still don’t have the international recognition of their peers in South and West Africa, Circle set out to alter this and have been in the forefront of changing perceptions. Now many of our artists are in internationally renowned collections and museums and institutions. It is our hope that regular shows in London will increase their profiles further and introduce new generations of collectors, curators and others in the art world to these artists.
